Call for Abstracts

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our distinct honor to invite you to contribute your scientific research to AMPICON 2026, the 47th Annual Conference of the Association of Medical Physicists of India (AMPI). This year, we gather in the coastal paradise of Goa from December 10th to 12th, 2026, to celebrate excellence and advancement in our field.

This year’s theme, “Waves of Innovation in Medical Physics: From Precision to Patient-Centric Practice,” reflects the transformative era we are currently navigating. Beyond the technical rigor of calculations and calibrations, we are shifting toward a more integrated approach—where cutting-edge precision directly translates into enhanced patient outcomes and personalized care.

Scope of Contributions

We welcome original, unpublished research from researchers, clinicians, academicians, and students. AMPICON 2026 aims to be a melting pot of ideas across diverse domains, including:

  • High-Precision Photon & Electron Delivery
  • Particle Therapy & Future Modalities
  • Stereotactic Excellence (SRS/SBRT)
  • Advanced Brachytherapy
  • Multi-Modal Diagnostic Imaging
  • MR-Guided Radiotherapy
  • AI & Big Data in Physics
  • Radiomics , Genomics and Quantum computing
  • Online & Offline Adaptive Radiotherapy (ART)
  • Motion Management & Inter-fraction Monitoring
  • Next-Gen Dosimetry & Instrumentation
  • Reirradiation (Image deformation and dose constraints)
  • Patient Safety, incident reporting and error Management
  • Radiobiology & Personalized Fractionation
  • Professionalism, Ethics & Education
  • Radiation Protection and Regulation of Medical Applications of Radiation
  • Advances in Theranostics
  • Dosimetry and Quality audit
